Program Teaching Objectives

The programme teaching objectives of Ege University Faculty of Letters, Department of History are to educate historians

1. who know the history of the world and our country, who can comprehend the problems of our age in a multi-dimensional perspective,

2. who can carry out their studies individually, make independent decisions and organise complex historical information in a coherent manner,

3. who have the ability to follow the current developments in the field, can benefit from information sources in Turkish or foreign language and have the necessary technological equipment to access these sources,

4. who can express their ideas verbally and in writing within the framework of professional ethics, can evaluate historical facts according to the conditions of the period.
